On the penultimate day of 2018, the Holloway Children’s Choir held a truly excellent concert to a sell-out audience at the Cathay Future Concert Hall, Tianjin.  To see the programme of pieces we sang, scroll down to the bottom of the post for the poster (mostly in Chinese).

Bolstered by our success applying for the Llangollen International Eisteddfod, the choir has made huge progress just in the last two months.  When I get the edited audio and video online I’ll add links to this post.  In the meantime, here are some photos of the concert.

Britten Class began the concert with a four-part canon by Melchior Vulpius, the fours parts standing in the aisles amongst the audience.

Britten class then processed onto stage while singing the Japanese three-part canon “Firefly”.
