Wigmore Hall on Friday March 13th at 1pm: premiere of my most recent solo guitar piece “Bountiful”<\/strong><\/p>\n

Many, many congratulations to Sam Cave – Guitarist and Composer<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/span> on his Wigmore debut, and (already belated) happy eightieth birthday to the inexpressibly precious Michael Finnissy, in whose honour the concert was held. I was proud to have a small part in it, with Sam’s at times scintillating, at times lilting rendition of my third work for solo guitar, Bountiful<\/em>.<\/p>\n

I saw far too many people to list that day, including many whom I had not seen for twelve, seventeen, and even twenty years. Time goes by criminally quickly. I singularly failed to document any of those encounters photographically, but it was wonderful all the same.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
