Weiwuying International Music Festival (in Kaohsiung, Taiwan) has chosen me as one of two composers to be commissioned to compose a new piece for their 2025 season.\u00a0 Commissioned composers are also invited to participate in the preceding year&#8217;s composer workshop with Unsuk Chin, which happens in April 2024.\u00a0 This was very much &#8220;third time lucky&#8221; for me, so I&#8217;m particularly happy to have been selected on what was probably my last opportunity before I&#8217;m too old to participate!\u00a0 Congratulations also to the fascinating composer Po Chien Liu for being commissioned by the festival.<\/p>\n<p>\u5a01\u6b66\u71df\u570b\u969b\u97f3\u6a02\u7bc0\uff08\u4f4d\u65bc\u53f0\u7063\u9ad8\u96c4\uff09\u5df2\u9078\u4e2d\u6211\u4f5c\u70ba\u5169\u4f4d\u53d7\u59d4\u8a17\u7684\u4f5c\u66f2\u5bb6\u4e4b\u4e00\uff0c\u8ca0\u8cac\u5275\u4f5c\u4e00\u9996\u65b0\u4f5c\u54c1\uff0c\u5c07\u65bc2025\u5e74\u5b63\u6f14\u4e2d\u9996\u6f14\u3002\u53d7\u59d4\u8a17\u7684\u4f5c\u66f2\u5bb6\u9084\u7372\u9080\u53c3\u8207\u4eca\u5e74\u56db\u6708\u8209\u8fa6\u7684\u9673\u9280\u6dd1\u4f5c\u66f2\u5de5\u4f5c\u574a\u3002\u5c0d\u6211\u800c\u8a00\uff0c\u9019\u5be6\u5728\u662f\u300c\u7b2c\u4e09\u6b21\u6b63\u4e2d\u4e0b\u61f7\u300d\uff0c\u56e0\u6b64\u6211\u5c0d\u65bc\u5728\u53ef\u80fd\u662f\u6211\u53c3\u8207\u7684\u6700\u5f8c\u6a5f\u6703\u4e2d\u88ab\u9078\u4e2d\uff0c\u611f\u5230\u683c\u5916\u9ad8\u8208\uff01\u540c\u6642\u4e5f\u606d\u559c\u5289\u535a\u5065\u9019\u4f4d\u5145\u6eff\u9b45\u529b\u7684\u4f5c\u66f2\u5bb6\uff0c\u7372\u5f97\u4e86\u8a72\u97f3\u6a02\u7bc0\u7684\u59d4\u8a17\u3002<\/p>\n<p><a
