I was thrilled and excited to have the New York premiere of my work for ‘cello and piano, Novella (Chapter One)<\/em>, on 16th November 2019, performed by two young star performers, Thomas Mesa and Yoon Lee.\u00a0 Fascinatingly, this performance took place in the private home of Ellen and Fred Harris in NYC; I was very sad I missed what must have been a wonderful venue and performance.<\/p>\n

Mesa said of this recital: “Yoon and I are so excited to share these terrific works! Each piece is by a living composer and was selected from hundreds that were submitted in a Call for Scores competition by the record label, PARMA Recordings. We will be recording these pieces later in November.” – Cellist Thomas Mesa<\/p>\n
